Mountaga Diabaté is one of the promising new Griot or Jeli singers. His soft and beautiful voice really have all the qualities we know from greats like Kasse Mady Diabaté. So it is no coincidence that Toumani Diabaté currently uses his talents in his liveband. Mountaga is out of good family, closely related as he is to the great guitarplayer, Djelimady Tounkara. This leader of Rail Band and part of the international AfroCubism project, is Mountaga's venerated teacher. We are proud to present this great artist.
